Accounting Consultant for Growth Company in Stockholm

Are you an experienced and self-driven Accounting Consultant looking to contribute your expertise to a company that actively promotes sustainable development? We are currently seeking a qualified accounting consultant for an assignment with a growth company in Stockholm that has environmental and long-term sustainability at the core of its operations.

The assignment lasts for 3 months full-time and gives you the opportunity to work broadly within accounting while contributing to shaping processes and working methods in a rapidly developing organization. The start is desired in early March until the end of May.

About the Company

Our client is in an intense development and growth phase where the business is being built up while processes are established and refined. The finance function is facing exciting changes and is now looking for an experienced accounting consultant who wants to contribute both operationally and strategically in a broad and developing role.

Your Responsibilities

As an accounting consultant, you will be a central part of the accounting team and work closely with both business control and other functions within the organization. You will have your own area of responsibility while working closely with colleagues in a knowledge-sharing team. The role combines ongoing accounting with improvement and development work, where you will have the opportunity to influence and create structure in a changing environment.

• Ongoing accounting, reconciliations, and accruals
• Monthly closing and reporting
• VAT reconciliations and declarations
• Preparation of materials for annual reports and audits
• Support in internal projects such as system changes and accounting-related investigations
• Drive and participate in improvement, development, and documentation of routines and processes within the finance function
• Management of fixed assets
• Work in environments with high transaction volumes

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a solid background in qualified accounting and who has worked independently in similar roles for several years. You have a university degree in economics or equivalent experience, and you are comfortable with the entire accounting flow. Experience from larger organizations or complex environments is highly meritorious, as is familiarity with high transaction volumes and work with fixed assets.

You have a strong interest in systems and feel at home in digital working methods. If you have worked in SAP S/4HANA, we see it as an additional advantage. Excellent knowledge of Excel and a good understanding of K3 is required, while IFRS knowledge is meritorious.

In the role, you will collaborate with several functions, which means you need to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and self-driven, while thriving in an environment where change and development are a natural part of everyday life.

Success Factors

• University degree in economics or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in qualified accounting, as well as good knowledge of K3 (IFRS is meritorious)
• Experience from larger organizations, including work with high transaction volumes and fixed assets
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and experience with SAP S/4HANA (meritorious)
